Cannabis in Minnesota Needs You

Contact Your Legislators in Minnesota to Support Cannabis Legalization

Democrats took control of the Minnesota Senate last year and have maintained control of the House. State Senators have been vocal about making cannabis legalization one of their top legislative priorities this session with Governor Tim Waltz saying he expects cannabis legalization to come in May. Things may move quickly in the state given the enthusiasm from lawmakers and Minnesotans in general, so this is the perfect time to speak up.

Individual Voices Make an Impact

Committee hearings have been scheduled and Governor Waltz is urging residents to sign a petition calling for a cannabis legalization bill to reach his desk. Cannabis is ripe for legalization and may very well happen sooner than later in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. The advocacy element cannot be understated with this state’s efforts, as seen by calls to action by state lawmakers and Governor Waltz.

There are still opportunities to make your voice heard about creating a legal framework in the state. This legislative session can prove to be fruitful, and one of the quickest moving for cannabis, if enough pressure is added to enact the change we need.
