Where Does Adult-Use Legalization Stand?

Adult-use legalization continues to gain momentum.

We ran some numbers to see just what that means for the U.S.

10% increase in 2021, alone, with New York, Virginia, and New Mexico joining.

40% of Americans now live in an area where adult-use cannabis is legalized.

That number grows to more than 50% if Pennsylvania, Ohio, and North Carolina – who are all talking about it – legalize.

The majority of the 15 largest states – 9 total – are now adult use.
