Joe Rossi, Managing Director and Cannabis Practice Group Chair, Park Strategies
Joe Rossi focuses on state and local government relations, business development, relationship management, and strategic planning. Joe is known to be a zealous advocate for his clients with his unique perspective gained through experience working in organized labor, the public sector, and the private sector. He currently serves as the lobbyist for the NY Cannabis Growers and Processors Association. Rossi previously served as a Senior Business Advisor with Empire Advocates LLC, a subsidiary of Barclay Damon LLP. He also served as Assistant Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and as Political Director of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 200 United.
Rossi is a graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland. He serves as Co-Chair of the Central New York Political Leadership Institute and was chosen to serve on the Platform Committee for the Democratic National Convention for the 2012 re-election of President Obama and was elected as a Vice Chair of NYS Democratic Executive Committee.
Alyssa Snyder, Managing Director, Park Strategies
Alyssa D. Snyder practices in the risk and insurance management practice group, assists on the firm’s expert insurance opinion practice and serves as an Associate Attorney in the D’Amato Law Group. Snyder serves as the Deputy General Counsel of FinsecaNY and also serves as the New York State Qualifying Officer for a Nebraska-based workers’ compensation third-party administrator.
Snyder is a graduate of the Albany Law School of Union University where she completed the joint JD/MBA degree program in 2011. She is admitted to practice law before the Courts in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Snyder graduated from Siena College in Loudonville, New York with a BA in Political Science and spent six months living in Siena, Italy studying Italian heritage and politics. A member of the Capital District Women’s Bar Association, Snyder has been the Chair of numerous committees, served on the Board of Directors, and received the CDWBA’s Outstanding New Lawyer Award.
Greg Huffaker, Director of Client Services, Canna Advisors
Greg Huffaker III oversees the licensing application process, the technical writing team, and overall project management. He is an expert in navigating the complex cannabis regulations and emerging state programs across the country. From his early industry work of maintaining a comprehensive database of ever-changing cannabis laws, his J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, and being a Colorado-licensed attorney, Greg brings a keen sense and deep knowledge of the legislation that impacts clients at every phase of business.
Greg maintains an active membership to the National Cannabis Bar Association which provides excellent, ethical, and advanced legal assistance to the growing cannabis industry. He is also a member of the NCIA’s State Regulations Committee (SRC) that works to establish best practices for states and municipalities on developing sound regulatory procedures for industry-specific statewide regulations.
