Just in December in Hays, KS, an elderly, terminal cancer patient’s home was raided by police for using a cannabis vape pen and THC paste to alleviate some of their cancer symptoms. Thankfully, prosecutors dropped the drug possession citation leveled against 69-year-old Greg Bretz. 

But this reversal wouldn’t have happened without public pressure to do so, even from the officers themselves who raided Bretz’s home. Now, its your time to let your voice be heard and advocate for cannabis reform in Kansas. If you don’t act, legislation will continue to stall or even die. This short legislative session can prove to be fruitful, if enough pressure is added to enact the change we need.
